A place to think is a festival based around genuine positive thought provocation and potential change to help better the lives of ourselves and the people around us. The idea of the festival is to create awareness of the problems that currently hinder humanity in our social economic structure. I was approached to produce a brand identity to promote the event, along with a range of tangible applications.
I have created a strong and cohesive identity for the festival with a clear focus on striking typography and vibrant colour. The maze symbol representing the event is a complex system or arrangement that causes bewilderment, confusion or perplexity. The centre is a representation of creativity and alternative ways of thinking.
